Remediation Course FL NCLEX

Remediation Course FL NCLEX

Why becoming a nurse is so hard. So I’m just getting sick and tired due to the obstacles that I’m enduring right now. So I failed the NCLEX 3x and now I have to do the remediation class and I spent about $2k+ and for the clinicals their requiring everybody to redo the titers and their asking for Covid and flu shots 😒 so that’s about $400 and this is all to be eligible to get 3more tries of the NCLEX. I want to give up because this is fckd up. Before anybody say anything I went to school that didn’t prepare us at all for the NCLEX and now everything have been a big delay. I’m a repeat test taker and I graduated back in 2022.

First timers-what to prioritize?

Hello Disney friends- my family goes to WDW end of March. Most of us will be there for the first time. We plan to use LL and MLP.. my question is, should we prioritize rides first getting in to the park, or should we walk around and see what we see and then use LL and Multi-Pass for afternoon times for rides?? Adding on to that question, We planned to take afternoon breaks most days so I’m not sure how to prioritize LL/multi pass in the afternoon if we meander through the parks in the morning. I’m curious what times others have taken their breaks if at all?? Thanks for the help!

Is anyone back to 100% without meds?

My amazing neurologist is leaving the practice, so I'm wondering if anyone has any stories about feeling better without medicine? I am so, so much better than I was - physical therapy, strength training, and stretching have made a huge impact. But I'm still on Gabapentin, Tizanidine, and Aimovig (for migraines). Plus I get nerve numbing shots in my neck/back of head. I would love to just be able to keep feeling well without seeing another doc. I went from head/neck pain almost every day to a headache maybe twice or three times a month. Anyone have any stories, or tips? Thanks

How many other TV shows outside of BtVS can you name almost all the characters including the recurring characters and can you name many of the episode titles and their episode number and can you name what happens in the opening and closing scenes of each Season, etc.?

*Buffy the Vampire Slayer* was 144 episodes. The writing, directing, cinematography, etc. is largely what made the show so superb. Many of 'the streaming era's' supposedly great TV shows, people forget what happened in previous Seasons. Cannot name more than a few characters if any characters. And Seasons are much shorter on top of that. For me this: "How many other TV shows can you name almost all the characters including the recurring characters, can you name many of the episodes and their episode number, can you name what happens in the opening and closing scenes of each Season, etc.?" only applies to *Buffy the Vampire Slayer*. And on top of that, I remember many of the writers's name. And can even for many episodes name which writer wrote that episode. I get irritated when people espouse that there's been a recent 'golden age of television'. Many of these supposed great shows, people cannot even name all the main characters much less also name the recurring characters. People forget general things that happened in the show. People sometimes have to rewatch a show before a new Season comes out just to remember or know what happened in the previous Season. For those who watched *Barry*: what is even Barry's last name? Can you name any of the other characters? What happened in each Season? I've always maintained that *Killing Eve* is the far better show. How about *Succession*: how many of the full character names can you name? *Succession* overall was like a high production value version of one of the worst parts of *Gossip Girl* S4. The writing and the on-screen chemistry that Sarah Michelle Gellar had with David Boreanaz, James Marsters, and Eliza Dushku. And the on-screen chemistry between James Marsters and Juliet Landau and their acting ability. And James Marsters's, Juliet Landau's, and Eliza Duskhu's perfect casting. THAT is what made BtVS so great and enduring. And the storytelling that elevated everything. It somehow not only worked on network TV with all the commercial breaks and holiday breaks and summer breaks, it worked while watching on DVD or through streaming. **POLL:** How many other TV shows outside of the Buffyverse can you name almost all the characters including the recurring characters and can you name many of the episode titles and their episode number and can you name what happens in the opening and closing scenes of each Season, etc.?

Kid struggling in Iceborne

My 13 year old has played through all of World and is now onto Iceborne. I told her about the Defender armor and how it makes the game pretty easy all the way until Iceborne. She decided to use it for her playthrough. Now she is onto much harder monsters and is struggling greatly, however she hasn't given up. She plays bow almost exclusively. Most of her hunts that are successful take roughly the entire time limit, so it's making it difficult to grind out parts when it takes 30-40 minutes to down a monster once. And that's only counting the successful hunts. She has lately been trying to practice using her clutch claw more so she can tenderize and wall bang the monsters more but she's struggling with that. Does anyone have some advice that can help? Maybe a recommended early build, or maybe some sage advice on how to move forward?

[Heart Racer] What is this Art Style called?

I don't know if Manhwas have different art styles (I'm new to this, only around a year and a half in) but I read a comment while reading a book about an art style that makes the characters look like chubby children (similar to the pic up above). That got me wondering if there are more art styles. The only up above is my favorite and I want to research for manhwas that could be illustrated in that style.

Matchy matchy - socks for my girlfriend

I made some socks for my girlfriend with yarn she picked out herself from Rhinebeck Sheep & Wool. It took a few tries with the cast on to get them to match but I’m so glad I put in the time and effort. And I’m very excited to give them to her!

Knowing karma is coming back to my abuser is oddly satisfying.

My sibling abused me sexually, emotionally, and physically for years while we were growing up. Forced oral sex, locking me in rooms, hitting me, terrifying me, arguing with my parents constantly, breaking things in my childhood home like windows and chairs. I’ve finally began to process and work through everything in therapy and I am away from that negativity since they live 800+ miles away. I’m not going to get into details but I know through my parents that they’re having problems in their relationship and may split, though they have children together. Long story short, it’s vindicating to know that everything I’ve worked for to get myself out of terrible situations is finally paying off. I have an extremely healthy marriage with a wonderful partner, I am excelling in my career, my home is peaceful, my job is fulfilling. And I actively work to keep negativity out of my life. My life is no longer dictated by my abuser. What they do with their life is their business. Their responsibility. It no longer falls on my shoulders and it’s no longer my burden to bear. I made it out. And I’m happy. So very happy. And so damn proud of myself.

Promo for M15.

What would be some new things y’all would like to see Madonna do to promote M15? Personally after watching the Björk interview, I’d love it if she would interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music. Also would be fun if she’d sign up for Hot Ones only cause I feel like I’d be hilarious (and it’s really popular). Maybe another TikTok livestream with Terri Joe? What are your ideas?

I'm a massive savings nerd. Here are the stupidest money mistakes I see people make.

**1. Overpaying for car insurance** The average American saves a whopping $410+ a YEAR ([source](https://betterbuck.net/content/heres-how-much-youre-actually-overpaying-for-car-insurance/?subid=Auto-Savings-Red-Savings-v2-1224-Source)) when they switch auto insurance carriers - sometimes significantly more than that: I saved $1,300 this year. The reason: some carriers offer discount prices to new customers when they switch. Take 30 seconds and go to a 3rd party comparison site ([Coverage.com](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=bankrate&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) and [Auto-Savings.com](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=otto&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) are both fine) to see if you can find cheaper rates. You’ll likely save yourself a bunch of money. Some people suggest switching every 6 months, that's a little bit overkill imo. Once a year should be fine. **2. Overpaying when you shop online** Big stores like Amazon know that no one has time to price shop through dozens of sites, so there’s often no incentive for them to offer bargain prices. I typically hate browser extensions with a fiery passion, but Capital One Shopping has always worked well for me and I'd recommend trying it ([link here](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=capitalone2&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224)). When you shop online (on Amazon or elsewhere) it will automatically compare prices for you, and auto-apply coupon codes when possible. **3. Paying for subscriptions you don't use.** We've all signed up for free trials and forgotten to cancel them. Stop paying for services you aren't using! Take a minute and get yourself a good cancellation app: I like Rocket Money ([link here](https://betterbuck.net/view2.php?offer=rocket-money&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224)). It's an app that will put together a list of your subscriptions so you can pick/choose which ones to cancel. They also have a premium service that will cancel them for you, if you'd like. [Here's a link](https://betterbuck.net/view2.php?offer=rocket-money&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) (it's free). **4. Dealing with debt on your own** If you’ve got $10k+ in unsecured debt (think credit cards, medical bills, etc), you can ask a debt relief company to come in and negotiate it for you. You typically will save around 23% on average (after their fees). Here’s a link to a savings calculator from National Debt Relief's website if you want to see how much you could save: [link here.](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=ndr2&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) **5. Not having a financial advisor.** You know why so many rich people have financial advisors? It isn't because they're better at picking stocks (spoiler alert: they're not) It's because a good financial advisor will help you with all of the bizarro tax implications you never would have thought of. People with financial advisors end up making \~3% more/year thanks to better tax planning. If you don't know an advisor personally, use a 3rd party comparison site to find somebody with good reviews ([WiserAdvisor](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=wiser&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) is solid). **6. Using normal, low-interest savings accounts** I'm always shocked at the number of people still using garbage savings accounts that pay 0.5% (or less) a year. There are literally hundreds of banks that will pay you 8x that, usually 10x that rate [Here's a link to a bunch of options.](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=fiona-savings&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) **7. Needing cash, but taking out high-interest loans.** So many people take out high-interest payday loans – **please don’t do this**. If you get into trouble you can typically get a relatively low-interest HELOC (a home equity line of credit) Essentially with a HELOC, you’re borrowing against the equity you have in your house and use it for whatever you need (much like a credit card). Typically, you’ll get lower interest rates and more flexible repayment terms compared to traditional loans. Here’s a calculator you can use to see how much/little you could borrow ([link here](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=lt-home&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224)). *Side note: if you hate debt, you can still get money out of your home’s equity by using something like* [*Hometap*](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=hometap&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224)*, where you more or less sell investors a portion of your equity without a loan)* \-- There are tons of other things (obviously) but these are the ones that I see the most. Hope that helps.

Can you still get the War Hero achievement even after the questline is completed?

I think I've screwed it up, because of the truce quest and it gave me a different fort (sided with Stormcloaks during the quest) instead of the achievement one. I got the trophy on ps5; maybe I did a different route? I don't know/remember. Could I still capture it after the fact? I really don't want to start another playthrough right now...

Cam "flickering" on streamlabs

Hi! My friend have just got a new "high-end" cam (Canon EOS 200D Mark II), but when he is streaming it is "flickering"(i dont know what else to call it). It is only a problem through Streamlabs and not in the "Elgato Capture Utility" - as the attached twitch clip shows. Does anyone have an idea for a fix? Kind regards
